Trying to figure out what my
semester project would be was a little bit difficult. I soon came to realize
that an outlet like YouTube would be perfect. For my semester project, I am
going to base it on YouTube with one main star who I personally watch and like
listening to, Jenna Marbles. I am going study and research why is something
like YouTube so important, how we use it in the media, how Jenna Marble uses it
to become such a large sensation and spectacle to thousands and thousands of
people.
Hundreds, if not thousands,
of videos and media content are posted onto YouTube. People have accounts,
there are tutorials on how to curl your hair or how to cook a certain dish. Jenna
Marbles, was just an average 28 year old girl from Rochester, NY. She went to
Suffolk College in Boston for both her BS and graduate school and she received
a Sports Psychology and Counseling degree. After school, she maintained
countless jobs and on the side started making YouTube videos. People strated to
like them and watch them and that is how she grew. Jenna Marbles, her real name
being Jenna Mourey, net worth is 2.5 million dollars.
